Any illusions -- and I had very few left -- about the Nobel Peace Prize vanished when Barack Obama was given the prize. I actually loved that he went on to give a War Hawk acceptance speech. I think it was appropriate and an honest response.
He is a War Hawk.
The Nobel Peace Prize isn't about peace. If you care about peace, you never give out the prize to a War Criminal like Henry Kissinger.
Why did Barack get the prize?
Because the committee wanted to spit on George W. Bush. Barack didn't earn it.
It was never more transparent except possibly when Al Gore won it for his film strip on global warming. That, too, was a way to gouge Bully Boy Bush in the eye.
When the motives are that transparent, you can begin to see the pattern.
The award this year was based on hatred of and fear of China.
It is not about peace, it is never bout peace.
It is often about attempting to embarrass someone.
The prizes themselves were started by a War Hawk trying to improve his name.
The prizes are a joke. My opinion.
