I will say the previews were interesting. Also the air conditioning was nice.

X-Men was a popular comic for years and years and decades. It's still popular today. But not in the same way. From the late 60s through the end of the 80s, people really cared about what their favorite X-Men was going to do -- who they'd end up with, that sort of thing At the movies tonight, to hear the chatter (and there was way too much talking), none of those things matter.
If that's a universal feeling, that means X-Men is now not originating hotness, it's just coasting on. Therefore, it will quickly burn out. That's too bad.
